Sketchbook: Travel Sketches and Libation

I know you're all thinking that this is yesterdays (last months?) news but wait, it's cool because I'm showing you sketches... Right?! In the last post I showed you what I was looking at while I was in Europe. What I didn't show you was how I saw things. Here are some sketches of how I saw my surroundings. I was so busy taking stock of everything around me that I really didn't have time to sketch as much as I thought I would. C'est la vie.

The last pictures are from our final days in England, the flight home and the booty brought back from our adventures. As you can see we may have gone a little overboard on the alcohol purchasing but who cares. Also, That's right, I bring my own bitters on trips so I can make a proper gentleman's cocktail. This drink happened to be a delicious buck with The Bitter Truth Old Time Aromatic Bitters and a little Jim Beam.

Next up will be a slew of new sketchbook work so stay tuned. Cheers everyone!

A mixture of plane and train sketches. The little boy was amazingly cute.

A snapshot of the view in our B&B garden poolside.
