Travel: SF-LDN-PRS Part 1

Four weeks ago my wife and I took our first trip abroad. It was a culmination of our five year anniversary, and M's birthday. We spent a lot of time planning, and getting in touch with friends in Paris, and without the help of our family and friends this trip wouldn't have been half as fun or successful as it was. A special thanks to Gerald Guerlais for meeting us for lunch, taking us to Pierre Hermé, and signing my Sketchtravel. Also, a more than gracious thank you to Lane and Lindsey Melchor for multiple days of food, wine, and sightseeing. Not to mention the relief from translating French in our heads all day long.

These are just a few of the things we saw as nothing can really describe the adventures we had other than perhaps Hemingway's A Movable Feast. Enjoy, and I will post part two in the coming days. Cheers and thanks to everyone!

Leaving SFO.

Houston really loves Bush. (Pun intended)

England staying classy.

On Round Pond. Kensington Palace in the distance.

Pub quiz and a pint? Why, yes please!

King's Cross.

The entry to our Apartment in La Marais, Paris.

This.

Space Invader owns Paris.

Yep.

Lookie!

This guy too.

Versailles was spectacular but this caught my eye immediately. Pretty epic.

Hotel De Ville .

Heaven is a place resembling this.

Interior.

Louvre.

This sums it up pretty well.
