Friends, Artists, Countrymen; lend me your artistic license! So, APE was this weekend and I met a lot of wonderful artists and finally put some faces to the artwork for some of them. A few noteworthy artists were, but not limited to, Bill Presing, Josh Cooley, Brittney Lee, Jackson Dryden, and Brandon Dayton. There was more than enough talent to go around, and there are many names that won't be mentioned on here that should be but for my lack of memory space. I'm sure I missed a lot of wonderful artists as well as I became more and more art-drunk as the day went on. I also spotted a lot of professionals that didn't have booths that were just perusing the floor in search of hidden gems. I had a few friends with booths to show off their wares as well such as, Ben Jelter, George Cwirko-Godicky, Konstantin Pogorelov, Roman Muradov, Jon Stich, and Joko Budiono. All magnificent artists. Having seen the growth of APE just this year has prompted me to really consider having a booth next year. The drawback is the lack of time to really look things over when you can't leave your booth. Overall This was a wonderful gathering of everything that's right with the art industry and the great camaraderie between our fellow artists.

That being said, I leave you with a new robot portrait to ogle until the next lunar cycle, or my next post, whichever comes first. Cheers!
