I have a few friends over at Secret Level and I got the opportunity to join in on one of their sketching sessions. The topic was super heroes as normal people and I chose to do a quicky of Hellboy at the beach. These don't take long but boy are they fun. Cheers everyone.

This is cover work I just did for Bay Area Alternative Press's quarterly publication Pressing Times. It has to do with who is in control of the media. David Fuller was the AD for the piece and a pleasure to work with. I went through a few sketching stages before we settled on a piece that would work as an all encompassing cover idea. At first this was to be an interior but I was informed later that they wanted to use it as a cover and I was honored to say the least. I plan on moving forward with the ideas of the bottom two since I really like where I was going with those, but for now I'm very pleased with my final product. As always though, there is much room for improvement. Cheers everyone.

Any self respecting illustrator has to, at some point in their lives, draw the Joker. It just makes sense, right!?
