I collaged some paper onto the surfac...Thanks guys. I collaged some paper onto the surface before I started with the drawing and continually prepped the board throughout the process. I used charcoal, matte medium and acrylic in the piece. It's all in how you prep the board. I have to say though, I like the original just as much if not more than this slightly photoshopped version. It's just so hard to get any of the subtleties scanned in.
